What is a "Hardware ID"?
The HardwareID is a code that is generated based on various internal components of your machine. The only time the HardwareID is sent to us is when you purchase or activate an paid product, and it is only used when creating a License Key for your machine.
What data is sent when the AutoUpdate utility connects to the Internet?
The only data we receive when you use the AutoUpdate utility is your IP address (and the time you checked) in our server logs (a default function of the server). We do not collect any personal information about you during the AutoUpdate procedure - i.e. it is otherwise completely anonymous. The AutoUpdate utility simply downloads a text file with information about the latest updates and, based on the information in that text file, will download the necessary update files from our server.
What is your policy regarding the data provided when purchasing a SpywareBlaster AutoUpdate or EULAlyzer Pro license?
We must collect, through our payment services provider, certain data to complete your purchase of the paid license (including your name and email).
All personal data provided to BrightFort LLC when purchasing is kept strictly confidential, and is not sold or shared with any third parties (unless required by law).
